In my kitchen this month .....

Yesterday I had family reunion. Just a tea party to celebrate family, love and new babies...so here they are:

Long weekend II chapter

On Saturday we went to an auction. It was fun although it was a very biiiiiigggggg and cold place!!!!
We are looking for some chairs for our dinning room.

There were a lot but not cheap at all, so.... we´ll continue looking...

Then to the country.... to have tea, walk and spend the rest of the afternoon and the following Sunday.

On Sunday afternoon we went back home.
After such a long weekend it´s difficult to begin the week, but here we are!

Long weekend

Just a long,.. long weekend here in Argentina.
It´s Flag´s Day so here we are, at home, enjoying the free days!!!
The weather is hard. It´s cold outside.. but there is a glorious sun and no wind so.....

Yesterday we went to the cinema: "The big wedding" with amazing actors and actresses like Susan Sarandon, Diane Keaton, Robert De Niro...

The film is a comedy and we (my two friends and I) had a wonderful time. Then after the movie, a stop at Starbucks to have coffee, muffins and cookies. Some shop windowing and then back home.

Today we have planned to visit Kansas, a famous restaurant in the outskirts of the city, just in San Isidro, eat their famous ribbs and then a walking tour by the neighbourghood.

Coming home just in time to prepare dinner because DD and DSL and future baby are coming.
The menu????? mmmm I don´t know... I´m thinking about it....

Saturday and Sunday....??? we´ll see, Buenos Aires is a great city, full of free activities and with an intense cultural life so we have plenty to choose, only give me some time to make up my mind ok???

A ustedes también les pasa??????

Me la paso viendo blogs con fotos espectaculares y con montones de seguidores y comentarios, y siempre me da un poquito de "penita", no lograr ese éxito o que me sigan.... al mismo tiempo me doy cuenta, que puedo dedicarle muy poco tiempo a este espacio, subo fotos a las apuradas, la mitad de las veces que cocino, paseo o hago algo divertido me olvido de postearlo....y así podría seguir.

Si lo pienso, el blog comenzó como una curiosidad, soy curiosa por naturaleza y todo lo nuevo me atrae.... me digo... a ver, seguro que es divertido.... y lo hago y aprendo a los ponchazos y lo saco, pero de ahí no paso.

Por un lado, mirado después de unos años, me encanta esta posibilidad que da el blog, de ser un diario de mi vida y de la vida familiar, también  me gustan los blogs que sigo: admirar las fotos, probar las recetas, disfrutar con las pasiones ajenas; y también en un rinconcito del corazón, me gusta pensar, que alguien ahí afuera, lo está leyendo, disfrutando con mis recetas o con mis sencillas fotos.

Si hago este balance, pienso que el blog cumple con su función dentro de mi ajetreada vida, que siempre ha estado llena de actividades, siempre quiero poder hacer todo..."coser, bordar,saltar, salir a la puerta para ir a jugar"......
Entonces a seguir, no seré la de las mejores fotos, ni las recetas más ricas, ni los posts más gloriosos pero bueh! la paso bien y me gusta!

Tarde de domingo

Tantos días sin escribir!!

Hoy recien regreso de pasar el fin de semana en Del Viso.
Partimos con C. el viernes a la noche.
Llegamos a una casa calentita, sopita y a la cama.
Al día siguiente, a hacer compras.... mayorista de quesos, carnicería buena y barata, intentar conseguir harina y avena..... misión imposible!

Y al regresar, asado con amigas del alma, que no sólo almorzaron, sino que salieron a caminar con nosotros, tomaron el té y partieron a la ciudad a la nochecita.

Hoy amaneció a un domingo con llovizna.
Desayuno, tejido y luego larga caminata de casi dos horas.

Que belleza los colores del otoño.

Almuerzo y regreso a eso de las cinco.

En casa, esperaban los chicos, estudiando,.... y pilas de ropa para lavar!!

Mañana comienza una nueva semana.
Pero vuelvo renovada, descansé, disfruté de la paz y el verde, me reí con amigas, comí cosas ricas... no puedo pedir más.
